Assistant City Clerk

The Assisant City Clerk help the City Clerk with daily activies.

The Office of Clerk for the City of Waverly provides clerical, record keeping and administrative functions to the Council. In addition, this individual performs many tasks that assist in guiding and managing the operation of local government policy and law. Below are just a few of the responsibilities of the City of Waverly Clerks.

  • Collects water and sewer payments
  • Prints bills for our customers
  • Answers phone and help with customers that comes in
  • Manages requests to speak to Council
  • Helps with collecting information and prepares Council agendas and other information for Council
  • Collects, organizes, and maintains records for water and sewer
  • Helps with records and submits Council meeting minutes
  • Issue various permits and licenses, such as dog tags, occupation & peddlers license and collect appropriate fees
